Chris Light, PE, LEED AP
CEO and Founder
Chris is a mechanical engineer with more than a decade of experience designing and fine-tuning high performance buildings. He founded Celeritas Engineering in 2018 to develop uncomplicated mechanical systems for zero carbon buildings, with a focus on improving occupant health, well-being, and productivity. He has worked on more than 15 LEED Platinum and 9 Net Zero Energy projects, and previously served as Director of Engineering, Associate Principal, HVAC Controls Team Lead, and Project Manager at prominent MEP design firms. He guest lectured at his alma mater, Stanford University, on advanced energy-efficient building design from 2013-2018 and presented on strategies for achieving market-rate Net Zero Energy performance at the New Building Institute’s Getting to Zero National Forum in 2018.
